Professional executive in the Progressive Party of the Working People (AKEL).

Representative of Nicosia constituency under the banner of AKEL-Left-New Forces since June 2021.

Currently serves as:
- Deputy Chairperson of the House Standing Committee on Refugees-Enclaved-Missing-Adversely Affected Persons.
- Member of the House Standing Committee on Financial and Budgetary Affairs, of the House Standing Committee on Educational Affairs and Culture and of the House Standing Committee on Development Plans and Public Expenditure Control.

- Secretary of the Student Division of EDON.
- Director of the Office of the President of the Republic of Cyprus Demetris Christophias (2010-2013).
- Deputy Government Spokesperson during Demetris Christofias’ presidency.
- Member of the Central Committee of AKEL since 2005.
- Member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of AKEL (2013-2021).
- Nicosia-Kyrenia District Secretary of AKEL (2016-2023).
- Head of the Educational Affairs Office of AKEL.
