Representative of Famagusta constituency under the banner of AKEL-Left-New Forces since June 2021.

Currently serves as:
- Deputy Chairperson of the House Standing Committee on Human Rights and on Equal Opportunities for Men and Women.
- Member of the House Standing Committee on Foreign and European Affairs, of the House Standing Committee on Labour, Welfare and Social Insurance and of the House Standing Committee on Legal Affairs.
- Member of the delegation of the House to the Interparliamentary Conference for the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) and the Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP).

Political career:

- Member of the Central Council of the United Democratic Youth Organisation (EDON).
- President of the Pancyprian Student Coordinating Committee (PSEM) (2001-2002).
- President of the Cypriots National Student Union (EFEK) of Athens (2004-2005).
- President of the Progressive Movement of Cypriot Students in Athens (2005-2007).
- Secretary of the Asociación de Amistad Chipre Cuba (Cyprus-Cuba Friendship Association).
- Member of the AKEL Famagusta District Committee.
- Member of the AKEL Central Committee since 2015.
- Spokesman of the AKEL Central Committee since July 2021.
