Political Scientist.

Parliamentary tenure/activity:

Representative of Larnaka constituency under the banner of DISY since June 2016.
On 10 June 2021 she was elected President of the House of Representatives for the Twelfth Parliamentary Term of the House.

Has previously served as:
- Clerk of the House (2016-2021).
- Deputy Chairperson of the House Standing Committee on Human Rights and on Equal Opportunities for Men and Women and of the House Standing Committee on Educational Affairs and Culture.
- Member of the House Standing Committee on Development Plans and Public Expenditure Control and of the House Standing Committee on the Environment.

Currently serves as:
- Ex officio Chairperson of the Committee of Selection.
- Ex officio Chairperson of the Special Committee on Ethics for the Members of the House of Representatives.
- Ex officio Chairperson of the Special House Committee on Declaration and Examination of Financial Interests.
- Ex officio Chairperson of the House Standing Committee on the Observance of the Rules of Procedure of the House of Representatives.
- Chairperson of the Ad Hoc House Committee on the Review and Update of the Rules of Procedure of the House of Representatives.
-  Head of DISY parliamentary group in the House since March 2023.
-  Ambassador on behalf of the House of Representatives of the Women Political Leaders’ Network since 2019.
