Standing Committee on Refugees-Enclaved-Missing-Adversely Affected Persons
It is responsible for matters that relate to refugees, missing persons, enclaved persons and persons that are adversely affected. In particular, its legislative and parliamentary scrutiny work covers topics that concern the investigation of the fate of missing persons, as well as the living conditions of refugees, persons who are enclaved, persons that have been adversely affected and prisoners of war. It furthermore deals with issues relating to the education and employment of children of enclaved persons, the employment of adversely affected persons, the management of properties belonging to Turkish Cypriots, the illegal exploitation of Greek Cypriot properties in the illegally occupied areas of Cyprus and the operation of a Central Agency for the Fair Allocation of Burdens.
