Standing Committee on Development Plans and Public Expenditure Control
Its basic duty is the scrutiny of development plans and the expenditure of the state on such plans. It examines legislative measures for the regulation of public procurement in this field, the execution of public works and the management of public finances. Furthermore, it exercises parliamentary scrutiny on matters within its competences, that may be within the material competence of any ministry, through the examination of the Auditor General’s Annual Report and the Reports of the Audit Service on public law bodies, as well as through items registered by its members.
