Representative of Nicosia constituency under the banner of DISY 1996 - 2004, under the banner of European Democracy 2004 - 2006 and under the banner of DISY since March 2013.

  • Chairman of the House Standing Committee on Educational Affairs (2001 - 2004).
  • Deputy Chairman of the House Standing Committee on Development Plans and Public Expenditure Control (1996 - 2001).

  • Deputy Chairman of the House Standing Committee on Foreign and European Affairs.
  • Member of the House Standing Committee on the Environment and of the House Standing Committee on Financial and Budgetary Affairs.
  • Member of the delegation of the House to the Interparliamentary Conference for the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) and the Common Security and Defense Policy (CSDP).
