Chairman of the House Standing Committee on the Cyprus File.

- Chairman of the House Standing Committee on Defence Affairs.
- Member of the House Standing Committee on Health Affairs, of the House Standing Committee on Internal Affairs and alternate member of the House Special Committee on Declaration and Examination of Financial Interests.
- Head of the delegation of the House to the Interparliamentary Conference for the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) and the Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP).
