- Chairman of the House Standing Committee on Financial and Budgetary Affairs.

- Leader of the DIKO parliamentary group since December 2013.
- Deputy chairman of the House Standing Committee on Financial and Budgetary Affairs.
- Member of the House Standing Committee on Foreign and European Affairs and of the Ad Hoc House Committee on the Investigation of Issues Relating to Loans of Politically Exposed Persons.
- Member of the delegation of the House to the Interparliamentary Conference on Stability, Economic Coordination and Governance in the European Union (IPC SECG).

- Organisational Secretary of the Nicosia District Committee of the DIKO Youth Organisation (NEDIK).
- Member of the DIKO Executive Bureau.
- Vice-president of DIKO (March 2009-January 2013).
- Head of the Financial Sector and of the Financial Research Group of DIKO.
- As Vice-president of DIKO, Co-ordinator of the Party mechanism for policy planning. 
- President of DIKO since December 2013.
- Member of the National Council, the supreme advisory body to the President of the Republic on the Cyprus problem.
