Representative of Limassol constituency under the banner of AKEL-Left-New Forces since June 2016.

- Mayor of Kato Polemidia (2001-May 2016).
- Observer to the Cyprus delegation to the Committee of the Regions of the European Union (2004-2007).
- Chairman of the Cyprus delegation to the Committee of the Regions of the European Union (2007-2015).
- Member of the Cyprus delegation to the Committee of the Regions of the European Union (2015-2016).
