Standing Committee on Institutions, Merit and the Commissioner for Administration (Ombudsman)
This Committee’s competence is the examination of matters that relate to principles, values, institutions and good administration in general. The legislative and parliamentary scrutiny work of this Committee aims at taking legislative and policy measures for enhancing public administration and improving any shortcomings, with the purpose of promoting merit and strengthening the credibility of public administration. In this framework, the Committee follows public administration acts in a wide sense.
