Standing Committee on Energy, Trade, Industry and Tourism
Its material competence extends to issues falling with the competence of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry, including public law bodies operating under its control. It examines bills of law and regulations and exercises parliamentary scrutiny, inter alia, on issues pertaining to energy, commerce, industry, tourism, product quality standards, commercial activities, oil and gas, energy policy, the protection of consumers, fair competition, the development of traditional crafts.
