Professor of Economics at the European University Cyprus.

Representative of Kyrenia constituency under the banner of DISY since 2011.

Has previously served as:
Deputy Chairperson of the House Standing Committee on Financial and Budgetary Affairs.

Currently serves as:
- Deputy Chairperson of the House Standing Committee on Foreign and European Affairs.
- Member of the House Standing Committee on Educational Affairs and Culture and of the House Standing Committee on Human Rights and on Equal Opportunities for Men and Women.
