Representative of Nicosia constituency under the banner of AKEL-Left-New Forces since 2011.

- Chairperson of the House Standing Committee on the Environment.
- One of the Vice Presidents of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) (January 2017- January 2018).
- Chairperson of the Subcommittee on the Middle East and the Arab World of PACE (January 2019- January 2021).

- Parliamentary Spokesperson of AKEL-Left-New Forces since June 2016.
- Member of the Committee of Selection.
- Member of the Special Committee on Ethics for the Members of the House of Representatives.

House Standing Committee on the Observance of the Rules of Procedure of the House of Representatives and of the Ad Hoc House Committee on the Review and Update of the Rules of Procedure of the House of Representatives.
