Parliamentary tenure/activity:

Representative of Limassol constituency under the banner of AKEL-Left-New Forces since 2011.

Has previously served as: 
- Chairperson of the House Standing Committee on Agriculture and Natural Resources.
- Deputy Chairperson of the House Standing Committee on Agriculture and Natural Resources.
- Head of the delegation of the House to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).

Currently serves as:
- Chairperson of the House Standing Committee on Labour, Welfare and Social Insurance. 
- Member of the House Standing Committee on Financial and Budgetary Affairs, of the House Standing Committee on Educational Affairs and Culture and of the House Standing Committee on the Environment.
- Member of the delegation of the House to the Interparliamentary Conference on Stability, Economic Coordination and Governance in the European Union (IPC SECG).

Political career:

- Member of the Limassol Municipal Council (2006-2011).
- Member of the Cyprus Anti-Drugs Council (2008-2009).
- Member of the administrative board of the Youth Board of Cyprus (ONEK) (2003-2009).
- Member of the AKEL Central Committee since 2015.
- Member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of AKEL.
