Representative of Nicosia constituency under the banner of the Cyprus Greens-Citizens’ Cooperation since 2016.

-Deputy Chairperson of the House Standing Committee on the Environment (2016-2021).

Currently serves as:
- Chairperson of the House Standing Committee on the Environment. 
- Member of the House Standing Committee on Agriculture and Natural Resources, of the House Standing Committee on Legal Affairs, Justice and Public Order and of the Ad Hoc House Committee on the Review and Update of the Rules of Procedure of the House of Representatives.
- Member of the delegation of the House to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM).

- Commissioner for the Environment (July 2006-February 2013).
- President of the Cyprus Greens-Citizens’ Cooperation (July 2020-October 2023).
